KATHMANDU: Ashok Chaudhary, who was elected from Sunsari–3, has been appointed as the Chair of the Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee.

The decision was made at a meeting of the parliamentary party of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).

Chaudhary, who became a proportional representation lawmaker in the 2022 elections, had been serving as a member of the same committee.

He is known as a leader with strong expertise in the agriculture sector.
