BUTWAL: Voting is currently underway in Rupandehi. Chief District Officer Madhav Prasad Pokharel informed Nepal News that voting has been taking place peacefully since 7 a.m. Voters have been participating enthusiastically since early morning to cast their ballots.
Security personnel, including the Nepali Army, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Police, have been deployed at the polling stations to maintain security.
According to the Office of the Chief Election Officer, 4,404 staff members have been deployed in Rupandehi for the election process.
The District Election Office stated that there are 672,523 registered voters in the district across five constituencies. Across the district, there are 213 polling locations with 736 polling stations.
