KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives began its sitting on Wednesday amid protests from opposition lawmakers, who stood in objection as soon as Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal opened the session at the Federal Parliament Building in Singha Durbar.
Lawmakers from the Nepali Congress, CPN (UML), Nepali Communist Party, Shram Sanskriti party and Rastriya Prajatantra Party took part in the protest.
Following the protest, Speaker Aryal gave the floor to Nepali Congress lawmaker Gita Gurung to present her party’s views.
