KATHMANDU: Sunil Lamsal, the Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, has been disclosed as holding significant assets, including land holdings across multiple municipalities, cash deposits, and gold and silver, according to details published by the Prime Minister’s Office.

The disclosure shows that land owned in the names of family members is spread across Kawasoti, Biruwa, and Tilottama municipalities.

In Tilottama Municipality, land registered under Jamuna Lamsal includes 1 kattha 10 dhur. In Kawasoti, Jamuna Lamsal also holds 10 kattha 15 dhur of land.

In Biruwa Municipality, land registered under Bodhraj Lamsal includes 7 ropanis of farmland, 14 ropanis of bari land, and an additional 8 ropanis of bari land (dry farmland).

The minister has also declared 30 tolas of gold and 50 tolas of silver. However, the source of these assets has not been specified in the disclosure.

Lamsal has further stated that he holds Rs 9 million in cash. The disclosure does not specify the bank where the funds are deposited or the source of the money.
