KATHMANDU: Following a meeting with disgruntled leaders, RPP General Secretary Dhawal Shamsher Rana announced his departure from the party to launch a new nationalist campaign.
Expressing deep dissatisfaction with RPP’s leadership style and ideological ambiguities, Rana admitted that despite a four-year effort to align the party with public aspirations, internal contradictions led it down a wrong path for which the people penalized it.
Rana clarified that his decision follows extensive consultations with well-wishers and Nepalis at home and abroad. He also emphasized that he harbors no personal animosity toward those staying behind.
Calling upon the youth, patriots, and nationalist friends seeking prosperity and pure intentions to join his movement, Rana urged them to unite and give their shared values a true destination.
