KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has expressed deep concern over recent sensitive and tragic incidents in Sunsari and other districts of Eastern Nepal, appealing to all parties to exercise restraint to maintain social harmony.

In a press release issued on Tuesday by Chairman Rabi Lamichhane, the party paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the events and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.

Additionally, the party wished a speedy recovery for injured citizens and security personnel.

The statement emphasized that no problem or dispute can be resolved through violence or confrontation, stressing that all parties must act responsibly to protect Nepal’s pluralistic culture, mutual unity, tolerance, and social harmony.
