SANTA CLARA: NVIDIA has launched Spectrum-6, a new high-speed Ethernet networking platform designed to power the next generation of large-scale artificial intelligence (AI) data centers used to train advanced artificial intelligence models and run AI applications.

The system delivers 102.4 terabits per second of bandwidth, doubling the capacity of the previous generation, and forms part of the company’s upcoming Vera Rubin computing platform.

According to NVIDIA, leading AI infrastructure providers, including CoreWeave, Microsoft, Nebius, SpaceXAI, and Tesla, will be among the first to adopt the technology. The company said the platform is designed to improve communication between hundreds of thousands of AI processors, allowing faster AI model training, quicker deployment of AI services, and more efficient use of computing resources.

NVIDIA also said the new platform offers higher network performance, improved power efficiency, and lower infrastructure costs for large AI facilities.
