KATHMANDU: Four Deputy Inspectors General (DIG) of Nepal Police have been transferred.

The Ministry of Home Affairs made the transfer decisions on Friday night.

According to the transfer list, Om Adhikari has been posted to the Madhesh Province Police Office.

Sanuram Bhattarai has been transferred to the Sudurpashchim Province Police Office.

Meanwhile, Govinda Thapaliya, who was serving in Madhesh Province, has been transferred to the Kathmandu Valley Police Office in Ranipokhari.

Om Rana, who was serving in Sudurpashchim Province, has been posted to the Crime Investigation Department of Nepal Police.

The Ministry of Home Affairs stated that the transfers were decided in accordance with the performance and administrative needs of the police organization.
