KATHMANDU: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dan Bahadur Karki has directed police officers to carry out their responsibilities by placing organizational purification and strengthening at the top priority.

While briefing Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs)—who were recently transferred and are heading to their respective duty stations—at the Police Headquarters today, he urged them to prioritize the use of technology and deliver result-oriented performance with a transparent, contemporary, and citizen-friendly service mindset.

IGP Karki directed the officers to execute their assigned responsibilities with absolute professionalism, a public-centric approach, honesty, and integrity.

On the occasion, Head of the Human Resources Development Department, Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG) Rajan Adhikari; Head of the Crime Investigation Department, AIG Sushil Singh Rathor; and Head of the Operations Department, AIG Uma Prasad Chaturvedi, also requested the officers to fulfill their official duties with integrity.
