KATHMANDU: The Nepal Police and Armed Police Force Nepal have directed all security personnel to cancel any ongoing leave, refrain from approving new leave requests, and report immediately to duty.

Those currently on leave, except for maternity or bereavement leave, are also required to return to office without delay.

Officials said the directive aims to ensure maximum deployment of personnel amid the current security situation.

The order instructs that no leave be granted or recommended until further notice, and emphasizes that police officers currently responsible as office heads must also report immediately.
