KATHMANDU: Police Inspector Abhay Lama, 33 years old, who was working at the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, has died after being seriously injured in a truck collision.

Lama, whose home is in Ward 4 of Likhu Tamakoshi Rural Municipality in Ramechhap, was critically injured on April 12 when a truck struck him.

According to Nabaraj Adhikari, the chief of the Valley Traffic Police Office, Lama passed away on Tuesday while undergoing treatment at B&B Hospital in Gwarko, Lalitpur.
