Oman choose to bat, reach 27/0 in 5 overs against Nepal

KATHMANDU: Oman got off to a steady start after opting to bat first against Nepal in the ongoing ICC World Cup League 2 match, reaching 27 without loss at the end of five overs.

At the TU Cricket Ground, Oman captain Jatinder Singh won the toss and elected to bat first against the home side.

Nepal made one change from their previous game against the UAE, bringing in Gulshan Jha in place of Lalit Rajbanshi.

Earlier in the tri-series, Nepal defeated the UAE, while the UAE registered a win over Oman.
