‘Suprasiddha Prawal Janasewa Shree (First class)’, the Honorary Vibhusan has been posthumously conferred on Tourism entrepreneur Ang Tshiring Sherpa.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari awarded the posthumous decoration to Sherpa for his contribution to the tourism sector in Nepal. Sherpa’s spouse, Chanda received the first-class honorary award on behalf of late Sherpa.

Sherpa lost his life in a helicopter accident in Ghunsa, Taplejung district.
