KATHMANDU: Exciting news for Nepali movie lovers! The highly anticipated film ‘Kalli’, starring Saugat Malla and Benisha Hamal, is currently being filmed in the scenic Jumla, and the big release date has been officially set for Kartik 21 next year! The release date was confirmed after discussions between the production team and distributors Kafiya Films and Kuber Films, as shared by presenter Kiran Nepali.

The movie is directed by Lakshman Sunar, who also crafted the story, ‘Kalli’ promises to be a thrilling cinematic experience. The screenplay is by Mahesh Duwadi, and Saroj Nepali is the producer of the film. The movie is produced by Himal Kaderia and Amala Devi Rai and is a production by Lekali Entertainment and Kasturi Productions. The film has some of the best actors in town like Uttam Pradhan, Arpan Thapa, Nazir Hussain, Barsha Raut, Vinod Nepali, Raire Rai, Priyana Acharya, Geeta Adhikari, Kuldeep Adhikari, and Begum Nepali.
