Parties should work to uplift people’s living standards, says Bijukchhe

MORANG: Chairman of Nepal Worker Peasants Party Narayanman Bijukchhe has ruled the possibility of restoration of the authoritarian monarchy adding that the monarchy was dethroned from the massive struggles of the citizens.

At a news conference organized by the party’s Koshi Province Committee here Saturday, Bijukchhe said that former king, also a businessman, will not be reinstated by the people in no way and added that the monarchy was totalitarian in its nature in most of the countries.

Likewise, he suggested the current ruling parties to work and deliver to the people to uplift their livelihood as announced in their election manifestos during the time of elections.

Bijukchhe also criticized the government’s policy and programme document unveiled for the upcoming fiscal year stating that it could not revitalize the country’s economy.
