GULMI: The Kaligandaki Corridor has been completely blocked due to a landslide at Barlwa in Khadgakot, Ward No. 6 of Kaligandaki Rural Municipality.

According to Bed Bahadur Thapa, Chairperson of Kaligandaki Rural Municipality, large rocks along with debris have fallen onto the road, and the landslide is still ongoing.

A police team has been deployed from the Bhurtung Police Post to clear the road, but removing the debris immediately is currently impossible, informed Ganga Bahadur Saru, the Information Officer at the District Police Office, Gulmi.

Meanwhile, the District Administration Office has urged residents living near rivers and streams to remain alert and take precautions against possible floods and landslides.
