KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba are scheduled to meet today at 11:30 AM at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.
The meeting aims to address pressing political issues, including a possible cabinet reshuffle and coordination between the ruling CPN-UML and the coalition partner, Nepali Congress.
PM Oli is pushing for an immediate reshuffle of ministers to improve government performance, but Deuba has not yet agreed, leading to a delay in finalizing the changes.
The two leaders are also expected to discuss unresolved bills pending in the federal parliament and ways to enhance cooperation in legislative matters.
