Communications Ministry requests all to contact it if communication service disrupts

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has requested to contact the ministry and different communication service providers if any communication service is disrupted at any place of the country as well as to provide any emergency information related to this.

Issuing a press release today, the Ministry made this request, saying daily life of the people has been affected due to heavy rainfall at most of the places of the country.

The Ministry asked to contact at 1498 of the Telecom Company, 9005 of the Ncell, 9851087432 and 9841376203of the Nepal Telecom Authority and 9849053663 and 9841520115 of the ministry for the same.

A discussion between the representatives of Communication Ministry and affiliated bodies held on Saturday decided to make necessary preparation to work further diligently to provide right information to the citizens during the disaster hour and to prevent the disruption of communication service during the difficult hour.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is still possibility of heavy rainfall for three more days.

The meeting was held in presence of Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Jagadish Kharel.
