KATHMANDU: Nepal Airlines is operating a special rescue flight today from Bhairahawa to Kathmandu, following severe disruption caused by floods and landslides across the country.
The flight, scheduled to depart Bhairahawa at 2:45 PM, will prioritize passengers including the disabled, elderly, and patients.
The airline said the rescue operation is being carried out under government directives as part of its responsibility as the national flag carrier.
Passengers are allowed up to 30 kg of luggage. The fare has been set at Rs 7,000 for the Bhairahawa–Kathmandu sector.
Another flight from Kathmandu to Bhairahawa is scheduled earlier today at 1:00 PM.
