KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official foreign exchange rates for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is NPR 141.74, while the selling rate is NPR 142.34. Similarly, the buying rate for one Euro is NPR 165.25 and the selling rate is NPR 165.95. The British Pound Sterling is being traded at NPR 190.00 for buying and NPR 190.81 for selling, while the Swiss Franc has a buying rate of NPR 177.55 and a selling rate of NPR 178.30.

The Australian Dollar is set at NPR 93.38 (buying) and NPR 93.77 (selling), the Canadian Dollar at NPR 101.56 (buying) and NPR 101.99 (selling), and the Singapore Dollar at NPR 109.59 (buying) and NPR 110.05 (selling).

The rate for 10 Japanese Yen is NPR 9.39 (buying) and NPR 9.43 (selling), while the Chinese Yuan is being exchanged at NPR 19.91 (buying) and NPR 19.99 (selling). The Saudi Arabian Riyal has been fixed at NPR 37.79 for buying and NPR 37.95 for selling, and the Qatari Riyal at NPR 38.89 (buying) and NPR 39.05 (selling).

According to the central bank, the Thai Baht is valued at NPR 4.36 for buying and NPR 4.37 for selling, the UAE Dirham at NPR 38.59 (buying) and NPR 38.75 (selling), and the Malaysian Ringgit at NPR 33.63 (buying) and NPR 33.77 (selling).

The South Korean Won (per 100 units) is set at NPR 10.03 (buying) and NPR 10.07 (selling). Likewise, the Swedish Krona is trading at NPR 15.10 (buying) and NPR 15.16 (selling), and the Danish Krone at NPR 22.13 (buying) and NPR 22.23 (selling).

The Hong Kong Dollar is being exchanged at NPR 18.21 (buying) and NPR 18.29 (selling). Among the highest valued currencies, the Kuwaiti Dinar has been fixed at NPR 462.70 for buying and NPR 464.65 for selling, the Bahraini Dinar at NPR 375.99 (buying) and NPR 377.58 (selling), and the Omani Rial at NPR 368.14 (buying) and NPR 369.70 (selling). Meanwhile, the exchange rate for 100 Indian Rupees is NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates are subject to change at any time as necessary. It also noted that commercial banks may offer slightly different rates, and the latest updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
