Police in Kailali district on Monday morning arrested 2 men in possession of 5gm of heroin from Bhajani Municipality-5.

The arrested have been identified as Ganesh Koli (28) and Manoj Malla (32), both residents of Gauniya and Rajwora respectively in the same municipality.

Security personnel deployed from the Suryapur-based Area Police Office arrested them with the narcotics during a routine vehicle check. They were entering Nepal from India on a scooter with a vehicle registration number (Se 7 PA 8647).

Further investigation into the case is underway, informed police.
