KATHMANDU: CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli has expressed the view that the dissolved parliament should be reinstated to give political outlet to the country.
Talking with a team of Press Chautari Nepal at Gundu-based residence today, Chair Oli reiterated that the parliament dissolved in ‘an unconstitutional and unauthorized way’ should be restored.
He expressed worry that a wrong practice might established in country’s political system while dissolving parliament in unconstitutional way.
The UML Chairperson clarified that his party was in favour of parliament restoration with a belief that the country would get a political outlet after its restoration.
Also the former Prime Minister, Oli stressed the need of maintaining freedom in journalism sector.
On the occasion, Chairperson of Press Chautari Nepal, Ganesh Pandey briefed Chair Oli about the situation of media and security sensitivity increased towards journalists in present situation and Press Chautari’s activities.
