Self-awakening program for good-governance and prosperity

KATHMANDU: A self-awakening program has been organized at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Minister at Singha Durbar today in the attendance of Prime Minister Sushila Karki.

On the occasion, Jeevan Vigyan’s Founder LP Bhanu Sharma delivered a speech.

Present at the program were ministers, Chief of the Army Staff, high-ranking officials of various security agencies, Chief Secretary of the government, secretaries and department heads and representatives of the private sector.

During the program, PM Karki expressed her confidence that self-awakening program would contribute to promoting good governance by producing mankind with ethical values, good conduct and sense of service, according to PM Karki’s Secretariat.

The Head of the Government also observed that it was indispensable to institutionalize self-awakening at every level in view of the core demands of the Gen-Z generation- good-governance.

She also highlighted the need to keep into consideration the goal several social and political movements-good-governance-spearheaded over different point of time in the country.

“Self-awareness is not just a spiritual practice. It is an experimental way of life that teaches a person to be happy and peaceful internally and helps in building a responsible, dutiful and prosperous society externally,” noted the PM.

The septuagenarian leader further asserted that self-awakening first teaches one to be organized, disciplined and aware. Then it inspires one to be responsible towards families, society and the nation.

“A self-awaken person does not only seek rights. S/he also asks what his/her duties and responsibilities are,” viewed PM Karki.
