KATHMANDU: Admiral Samuel Paparo, Commander of the United States Indo-Pacific Command, is set to arrive in Nepal on February 12 for a three-day official visit, officials confirmed.
Admiral Paparo will arrive by special aircraft and remain in Nepal until February 14. During his visit, he is scheduled to pay a formal call on the Nepal Army’s Birendra Peacekeeping Training Center in Panchkhal.
Officials said the visit aims to bolster bilateral relations and deepen cooperation in areas such as humanitarian assistance, disaster management, and international peacekeeping operations.
The engagement marks a continuation of strategic collaboration between Nepal and the United States at the military and peacekeeping levels.
