MUMBAI: In their second ICC T20 World Cup match, Nepal, batting first at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, were all out for 123 in 19.3 overs after losing the toss.
Arif Sheikh top-scored with 27, followed by Aasif Sheikh (20), Dipendra Singh Airee (17), and captain Rohit Paudel (14). Opener Kushal Bhurtel managed just 5, while other top-order batsmen fell cheaply.
Italy’s Chrisan Kalugamage took 3 wickets for 18 runs in 4 overs, with Ben Manenti claiming 2 wickets for 9 runs.
Ali Hasan, JJ Smuts, and Jaspreet Singh also chipped in with one wicket each.
