BARDIYA: A man who had gone missing during hunting was found dead after two weeks. The body has been recovered. Top Bahadur Khatri, 33, of Barahatal rural municipality-2 of Surkhet, had been missing since he had gone to the Bardiya National Park for hunting. Khatri’s body was found at Babai Valley Ratamate area of the Park, shared Chief of District Police Office, Surkhet, Sudhir Raj Shahi.

Police said five others who had gone for poaching with Khatri had been absconding towards India. They are Resham Samsheli, Rabi Lal Damai, Ram Bahadur Gharti, Sunil Samseli and Durga Bahadur Sinjali of Barahatal rural municipality-1, added Shahi. Further investigation into the case was underway with the support of Area Police Office, Bangaha.
