KATHMANDU: Police have arrested three men involved in an armed robbery attempt at a jewellery shop in Indrachowk, Kathmandu.

The suspects—Bikesh Rajbhandari, Arun Bhujel, and Harikrishna Maharjan—were arrested by the Nepal Police.

They allegedly tried to rob the shop on April 30 by pointing a pistol at staff, but fled after a woman resisted.

Police also linked them to an earlier robbery in January at a wholesale shop in Kathmandu-25, where cash, gold jewellery, mobile phones, and CCTV equipment were stolen.

A pistol, ammunition, clothes used in the crime, and a scooter have been recovered. Investigation is ongoing.
