KATHMANDU: Chairman of Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has paid heartfelt tribute to the party’s former General Secretary Madan Kumar Bhandari and Organization Department Chief Jibaraj Ashrit.

On the occasion of the 33rd Madan–Ashrit Memorial Day, Oli expressed deep respect and remembrance for the late leaders’ significant contribution to strengthening and developing the party.

Issuing a message in memory of Madan and Ashrit today, Chairman Oli described them as his leaders, companions, and fellow fighters.

He said that although the wounds of the past have grown old, the memories of their pain have become even deeper.
