KATHMANDU:  The Finance Committee under the House of Representatives has decided to hold discussions with experts regarding the upcoming fiscal year budget.

A meeting of the committee held on Tuesday at Singha Durbar made the decision to consult experts in order to provide suggestions and recommendations to the government on budget formulation.

Members of the committee also shared their views on the upcoming budget preparation during the meeting.

Issues raised by members will be discussed with experts, after which necessary suggestions and directives will be provided to the government.

Subcommittees under the panel have been instructed to submit additional recommendations related to their respective areas in the context of budget formulation.
