DANG: A 24-year-old man, Ramesh Thada Magar of Tulsipur-2, Dang, has been arrested with illegal prescription drugs after uploading a video on Facebook that showed him threatening and assaulting a young woman with a khukuri in a forest three months ago.

Following the video’s release on Tuesday evening, a team from the Area Police Office in Tulsipur raided Magar’s home later that night, confiscating 1 tablet of Pregamax, 41 tablets of Trohmo, 2 tablets of Anticop, and 5 tablets of Nitrazepam.

Police also detained 21-year-old Jibaraj Khatri during the operation, and an investigation into both individuals is currently underway.
