KANCHANPUR: Bheemdatta Municipality in Kanchanpur district has announced a 12-day holiday for both community and institutional schools within locality owing to rising temperatures.

According to Chief Administrative Officer at Municipality, Mahesh Bahadur Bam, the local government decided to implement 12-day closure beginning from June 22. This holiday will be adjusted within the school’s annual vacation calendar.

In recent days, increasing temperatures here have made it difficult for students to attend school. The municipality said the decision was taken bearing in mind the students’ health and safety.
