KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is conducting a mandatory orientation session today for its Members of Parliament to introduce a newly developed digital system named ‘PulseRSP’.

To be held at the party’s parliamentary office in Singha Durbar under the presence of party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane, the meeting aims to integrate digital workflows into the lawmakers’ daily routines while simultaneously providing essential training on cyber security measures.

This initiative marks a significant step in the party’s ongoing strategy to fully digitize its internal operations and public engagement.

Following the orientation, it will become compulsory for all RSP lawmakers to consistently log their political, legislative, and public activities into the platform.

PulseRSP is designed as a centralized hub where MPs must update the topics they intend to raise in Parliament, document their constituency visits, and log official meetings.

The system also introduces an online scheduling feature, allowing individuals to request and manage appointments digitally.

Beyond internal tracking, the platform serves as a direct bridge to the public by allowing citizens to lodge grievances directly with their respective constituency’s representative.

The system will track the progress of these public complaints from submission to resolution.

Notably, the data collected from these tracking metrics and activity logs will be used by the party leadership to systematically evaluate the performance of each member of parliament.

Chief Whip Kabindra Burlakoti issued the directive requiring all parliamentary members to attend the session, which is scheduled to begin at 10:30 AM.
