KATHMANDU: The prices of gold and silver have increased in the domestic market today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has gone up by Rs 7,200 per tola (11.66 grams) today, reaching Rs 290,700.

On Thursday, the price of gold was fixed at Rs 283,500 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has also increased today.According to the Federation, the price of silver surged by Rs 165 per tola to reach Rs 4,615.

On the previous day, silver was traded at Rs 4,450 per tola.
