KATHMANDU: The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Nepal, Udo Eugen Volz, paid a courtesy call on Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shisir Khanal, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Singha Durbar today.

During the meeting, the two dignitaries discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest, focusing on further strengthening the long-standing bilateral relations, development cooperation, and economic partnership between Nepal and Germany.

Foreign Minister Khanal expressed his appreciation for Germany’s continuous support in Nepal’s socio-economic development, particularly in areas of renewable energy, health, and sustainable economic development.

Ambassador Volz reiterated Germany’s commitment to supporting Nepal’s development priorities and strengthening the friendly ties between the two nations.
