RASUWA: Located along the Betrawati–Mailung–Syabrubesi road section connecting to China, the 181-meter-tall Bhange Waterfall in Uttargaya Rural Municipality-2, Rasuwa, has become a major stopover for travelers journeying from Nuwakot, Kathmandu, and Dhading.

Surging with heavy monsoon volume, the waterfall cascades down a steep cliff into a pool that feeds directly into the roaring Trishuli River, where visitors can be seen swimming and taking in views from a nearby hilltop viewpoint.

Local ward chair Tuku Prasad Subedi noted that popularity surged after photos and videos circulated on social media, driving daily visitor numbers up to 300 on weekdays and up to 500 on weekends—a seasonal rush supported by nearby hotels and homestays.

To capitalize on the seasonal attraction, the provincial and local governments allocated Rs 4 million for infrastructure development at the site, which sits roughly 70 km from Tokha, Kathmandu, and 18 km from Bidur, Nuwakot.
