BIRATNAGAR: The District Administration Office (DAO), Morang, has issued an immediate, blanket ban on the use of DJ sound systems at all public, social, and private gatherings throughout the district.

According to an official notice published today, the prohibition applies to fairs, festivals, wedding ceremonies, parties, religious functions, Purans, and any other public or private events.

The notice, signed by Assistant Chief District Officer Pawan Raj Koirala, states that the restriction will remain in effect across Morang until further notice.

The local administration warned all residents and event organizers to comply strictly with the directive. Any individual or group found playing or organizing DJ sound setups in violation of the notice will face legal action in accordance with prevailing laws.
