KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank has announced today’s foreign exchange rates, stating that the buying rate for one US dollar is NPR 148.39 and the selling rate is NPR 148.99.

Similarly, the euro is priced at NPR 174.56 for buying and NPR 175.26 for selling, while the UK pound sterling stands at NPR 200.57 (buying) and NPR 201.38 (selling), and the Swiss franc at NPR 189.79 (buying) and NPR 190.56 (selling). Among other major currencies, the Australian dollar is NPR 106.37 (buying) and NPR 106.80 (selling), the Canadian dollar NPR 108.37 (buying) and NPR 108.80 (selling), and the Singapore dollar NPR 116.83 (buying) and NPR 117.30 (selling).

In Asian currencies, 10 Japanese yen are valued at NPR 9.35 (buying) and NPR 9.39 (selling), the Chinese yuan at NPR 21.77 (buying) and NPR 21.85 (selling), the Saudi riyal at NPR 39.56 (buying) and NPR 39.72 (selling), and the Qatari riyal at NPR 40.70 (buying) and NPR 40.86 (selling). Other rates include the Thai baht at NPR 4.65 (buying) and NPR 4.66 (selling), UAE dirham at NPR 40.40 (buying) and NPR 40.56 (selling), Malaysian ringgit at NPR 37.54 (buying) and NPR 37.70 (selling), South Korean won (100) at NPR 10.11 (buying) and NPR 10.16 (selling), Swedish krona at NPR 16.19 (buying) and NPR 16.26 (selling), and Danish krone at NPR 23.36 (buying) and NPR 23.45 (selling).

Likewise, the Hong Kong dollar is NPR 18.95 (buying) and NPR 19.02 (selling), the Kuwaiti dinar NPR 484.38 (buying) and NPR 486.34 (selling), the Bahraini dinar NPR 393.61 (buying) and NPR 395.20 (selling), and the Omani riyal NPR 385.93 (buying) and NPR 387.49 (selling). The Indian rupee (100) is fixed at NPR 160.00 (buying) and NPR 160.15 (selling).

The central bank noted that these rates may be revised at any time, and commercial banks may have slightly different rates, with updated information available on its official website.
