BHAIRAHAWA: The US Embassy in Nepal supported a CEO Dialogue on “Leveraging Technology and Storytelling for Tourism” in Bhairahawa, bringing together tourism industry leaders, policymakers, digital innovators, academics, media representatives and young professionals to discuss ways to strengthen Nepal’s tourism sector and attract greater investment.
Organized by Aadyanta Advisory and the International Development Institute, in collaboration with AmCham Nepal and the Global Impact Collective, the event focused on using technology and storytelling to attract higher-value visitors and boost economic growth.
Dileep Dhakal, founder and CEO of Veel, demonstrated how creator-driven digital platforms and AI-enabled marketing can enhance tourism promotion through user-generated content. Shiva Dhakal, founder and managing director of Royal Mountain Group, highlighted responsible tourism and narrative-driven promotion as key to positioning Nepal as a destination for high-value travelers.
According to the embassy, the CEO Dialogue reflects the United States’ commitment to supporting Nepal’s economic growth, digital innovation and private sector development.
