KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court has refused to issue an interim order against the Nepali film Lalibazar, upholding an earlier decision by the High Court Patan.

A petition seeking to halt the film’s screening had been filed by Roshani Badi. With the court rejecting the demand, the film can continue screening nationwide.

Producer Max Dipesh Khatri said the movie does not offend any community and highlighted positive feedback from members of the Badi community.

Directed by Yam Thapa, the film stars Swastima Khadka and Rabindra Singh Baniya
