KATHMANDU: Farmers and laborers who fall victim to microfinance institutions and predatory financial practices organized a ‘Capital March’ in Kathmandu today.

The rally was organized under the banner of the Farmers-Laborers Movement Nepal Against Microfinance and Financial Exploitation.

Demonstrators kicked off the march from Balkhu, marching through key city thoroughfares toward Bhadrakali, where the rally will conclude with a corner assembly.
