KATHMANDU: Former Energy Minister Deepak Khadka has been admitted to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj after experiencing health complications.
According to SP Pawan Kumar Bhattarai of the Kathmandu District Police Range, Khadka’s condition required medical attention following his arrest in connection with a money laundering case.
Khadka was taken into custody on Sunday morning by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police. The arrest was linked to an investigation into burnt banknotes found at his residence during the Gen Z protest on Sep 9.
