KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balen Shah has called a Constitutional Council meeting for Friday at 5:00 PM at his office to recommend appointments for vacant positions in various constitutional bodies.

The primary focus will be filling vacancies in the Election Commission, alongside openings in the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, National Human Rights Commission, and several thematic commissions.

The high-level meeting will include the Prime Minister, Chief Justice, Speaker, Deputy Speaker, National Assembly Chairperson, and the Leader of the Main Opposition.
