KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel on Friday promulgated the ‘Money Laundering Prevention Third Amendment Ordinance 2026,’ introducing fresh legal provisions related to anti-money laundering measures.

The ordinance was issued under Article 114(1) of the Constitution following a recommendation from the Council of Ministers.

Officials said this marks the third ordinance issued by President Paudel, as the government continues to bring legal changes through ordinance provisions in the absence of parliamentary passage.
