KATHMANDU: President of the Nepali Congress, Gagan Thapa, has said saintly leader Krishna Prasad Bhattarai is an unforgettable figure of Nepali politics. His title of ‘santaneta’ (saintly leader) is indelible, Thapa added.

At a programme organized by the NC Lalitpur District Working Committee to unveil the statue of leader Bhattarai at Nakhipot today, president Thapa viewed the late leader was honest, staid and moral politician of Nepal, thereby deserving the title ‘santaneta’.

At the programme, president Thapa informed the public that that NC had managed a policy level provision to ensure representation of youths under 30 year in the general convention.

According to him, it was wrong to form province government, forging alliance with three major political parties.
