SUDURPASCHIM: The Sudurpaschim Province Assembly is holding its meeting at 11:00am today.

Information officer at Province Assembly secretariat, Yubraj Jaisi, said the assembly has a tentative schedule to table appropriation bill.

Even the annual reports of the Office of the Auditor General, the Public Service Commission, the Tharu Commission and the Madhesi Commission will be presented in the meeting.

The Province Assembly is meeting first after the presentation of the budget for fiscal year, 2026/27 since June 15. After the dispute surfaced among ruling parties over the budget, additional process for budget passage are awaited.
