KATHMANDU: Addressing a party gathering in Pokhara, former Prime Minister and Nepali Communist Party co-coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal stated that the immediate unification of communist parties is currently impossible, citing a recent statement by UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli.

Urging party workers to dismiss any illusions about immediate unity, he emphasized the need to focus entirely on strengthening and streamlining their own organizational structure.

Additionally, he stressed the importance of maintaining strong Marxist-Leninist ideological commitment and recommended conducting regular training campaigns across all party levels to counter political defection.
