KATHMANDU: Nepal Telecom has continued its work to expand internet services in remote and geographically challenging areas of Nepal in line with the government’s commitment to improving connectivity.

As part of this initiative, 4G service has been successfully launched a few days ago in the remote parts of Taplejung and Dolpa districts.

Nepal Telecom is also preparing to expand 4G services in several other remote locations, including Bajura.

In addition, studies are underway to extend 4G connectivity to the Everest Base Camp area.

According to telecom officials, the ongoing expansion aims to reduce the digital divide and ensure quality communication services for all citizens.
