CHITWAN: Eight people were injured after a Magic van and a Scorpio SUV collided head-on at Dasdhunga, Bharatpur-29, along the Muglin-Narayangadh road section on Tuesday.

According to police, the Magic van traveling from Muglin to Narayangadh crashed into the oncoming Scorpio. All injured passengers are receiving treatment at the College of Medical Sciences in Bharatpur.

Police have taken both drivers into custody for questioning, and an investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
