KATHMANDU: US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Samir Paul Kapur, has arrived in Kathmandu.
Assistant Secretary Kapur landed in the capital this morning for a three-day visit. During his stay, he is scheduled to hold high-level meetings and also meet with several government ministers.
In October last year, US President Donald Trump appointed Kapur, a South Asia security expert, as the Assistant Secretary of State responsible for South Asian affairs.
