Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has finally made a gutsy recovery after miraculously surviving a horrific home invasion in Mumbai. The actor was mercilessly attacked inside his residence in the wee hours of the morning on January 16, 2025. Khan had a total of six stab wounds out of which two were near the spinal region critically. He was taken to Lilavati Hospital for emergency surgery to have a knife pulled out of his spinal cord and repair leakage in spinal fluid. According to sources, after a successful procedure, Saif is stable and recovering well.

The police in Mumbai arrested the attacker, Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, a 30-year-old Bangladeshi national. Shehzad had entered India illegally and had been working under the alias Vijay Das with a housekeeping agency. Police believe his primary intention was theft, which led to the violent altercation.

This outrageous incident has sent out a spate of alarms on security matters not only in Mumbai but also among the film fraternity.Luckily, Saif’s wife, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, and their two little kids did not get affected by this attack. The family is quite thankful for all the love that has been coming their way since this incident from all fans and public.
